Here’s how to become a Miner:

Freshman Student:
Complete an ApplyTexas application at ApplyTexas.org.
High school transcripts must be sent directly from the high school to UTEP.
Submit official test scores directly from the testing agency (i.e. CollegeBoard.org or ACT.org) to UTEP.

Transfer Student:
Complete an ApplyTexas application at ApplyTexas.org.
Transcripts must be sent directly from the institution(s) to UTEP.

International Student:
Complete an ApplyTexas application at ApplyTexas.org.
$65 Application Fee
Transcripts must be sent directly from the institution(s) to UTEP.
Submit official test scores directly from the testing agency (i.e. CollegeBoard.org or ACT.org or ETS.org) to UTEP.
Confirmation of Financial Resources Form

Graduate Student:
$45 Application Fee for domestic and Mexican national applicants ($80 for international applicants)
Submit transcripts and diplomas or certificates (international applicants) from all colleges or universities attended, and other documents, if applicable: official standardized test scores (GRE/GMAT/MAT), statement of purpose, letters of recommendation, CV or résumé, writing sample, official TOEFL scores (for applicants who earned their degrees in non-English speaking countries), and confirmation of financial resources form (for international applicants).

Mexican nationals who demonstrate economic need are encouraged to apply for the Programa de Asistencia Estudiantil (PASE), to be eligible to receive in-state tuition. For more information about the PASE program, visit sa.utep.edu/oip.
